Peter Miraglia (Philadelphia, PA) studied at the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and did research and curatorial work at the George Eastman House, including work on their seminal New Topographics exhibition. Work has been widely exhibited, including Philadelphia Museum of Art, Delaware Art Museum, Allentown Art Museum, The Alternative Museum, New York, and California Museum of Photography, Riverside, CA. Awards received include the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship, The Photo Review National Competition - First Prize, The Center For Documentary Studies/Honickman Prize, Finalist and Forward Thinking Museum Photography Award. The work has been reproduced in many publications and catalogs and is included in numerous public and private collections, including Philadelphia Museum of Art, Baltimore Museum of Art, and California Museum of Photography.
