Gesine Janzen

Gesine Janzen (Bozeman, MT) studied at Bethel College, Newton, KS, and the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, and received an MFA from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. Her prints are held in numerous corporate, university and public collections, including the Artist/Printmaker/Photographer Research Collection, Museum of Texas Tech, Lubbock, TX; Spencer Museum of Art, Lawrence, KS; and Sprint Collection, Kansas City, KS. She exhibits nationally and internationally, and was included most recently in New Prints 2014/Summer at the International Print Center New York, New York, NY; Layers of Identity, Arena 1 Gallery, Santa Monica, CA; and a group show at the Jerusalem Print Shop, Jerusalem, Israel. She is Associate Professor of Art, and Head of Printmaking, at Montana State University, Bozeman, MT.
