Miguel A. Aragón

Miguel A. Aragón (Juárez, México) received his BFA from the University of Texas, El Paso, and his MFA from the University of Texas, Austin. He has had solo exhibitions both in the USA and abroad. His work has been included in numerous group exhibitions in venues ranging from commercial galleries, non-profit institutions to museums. Aragón has received numerous awards for his work, including a Fellowship from Kala Art Institute and has also been invited to participate in artist residencies in California, Texas and twice in Germany. His work is included in the books A Survey of Contemporary Printmaking; The Future is Unwritten: Contemporary Artists from Mexico, and Arte Tejano: de campos, barrios y fronteras, as well as others. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Printmaking at the College of Staten Island, NY.
