Bonnie Levinthal (Philadelphia) received her BFA from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and her MFA from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. She is an Associate Professor of Visual Art at Penn State Abington College. She has shown her work nationally in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, among other locations and internationally in Havana, Cuba, Melbourne, Australia and Toronto, Canada. Levinthal has received awards for her work including a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Grant and fellowships at Yaddo, The Millay Colony of the Arts and the Nes Artist Residency in Iceland. Her work has been included in recent exhibitions at Arlington Arts Center, Arlington, VA; CR Ettinger Studio Gallery, Philadelphia; Schmidt Dean Gallery, Philadelphia; and Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia.
