Jane Olin (Carmel Valley, CA) has been a photographer in California for nearly thirty years. She honed her skills with the assistants and students of Ansel Adams, and in workshops with Ruth Bernhard, Joyce Tenneson, Holly Roberts and Brian Taylor, among others. Her current series Intimate Conversation was featured in a solo exhibition, Jane Olin: Beyond My Reasonable Self, at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA, earlier this year. She has exhibited in many group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Salon Jane: The Ethereal Zone, featuring the six-member group she founded, opens at the Monterey Museum of Art, Monterey, CA, in September of 2018. Her work is held in both private and public collections, including Monterey Museum of Art, Monterey; Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego; and Triton Museum of Art, Santa Clara.
