Katie Baldwin is a skilled bookbinder and printmaker. Her experience working as an artist in other cultures has been fundamental to the development of her work. She has participated in exhibitions at the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, DE; The Center International d’Art Contemporian; Pont Aven, France; at DIC Square in Nichonbashi; Chuo-ku, Tokyo; at Space 1026 in Philadelphia, PA; and Miejska Galeria in Lodz, Poland. She recently completed a collaborative project with Caitlin Perkins through the Landmarks and Contemporary Arts Projects in Philadelphia, which included artist rendered tableware and a secret café inspired by recipes from the 18th century.

Katie Baldwin received her Masters of Fine Arts in printmaking and book arts from the University of the Arts in 2004, she received the The Elizabeth C. Robert’s Prize for Graduate Study and the Mr. Harry Eaby/Piccari Press Scholarship. Her work is included in the Library Special Collections at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia; Works on Paper Special Collections at The Free Library of Philadelphia; and in The Seattle Arts Commission Small Works Permanent Collections in Seattle, WA.
