Candy
Depew has
a heightened visual vocabulary for understanding pattern, style,
and design, as well as arrangements of form and surface. She works
in a variety of media including, but not limited to ceramics, silkscreens
and installation pieces. She is fascinated by the decorative arts
and travels around the United States and Europe researching ornamental
prints, the decorative arts and collections containing this style
of work.
