Bill McRight was born in Decatur, GA in 1978. He has lived in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York and currently Philadelphia. He received his M.F.A. from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY in 2005. He currently teaches printmaking at Arcadia University. He also is a member of the artist collective Space 1026 in Philadelphia.

He has been fortunate to work with Cannonball Press, Saturday Skateboards, Swindle Magazine and Mishka NYC. When he is not carving linoleum or wood he spends his time making shanks, drawing, lurking in shadows and laughing at bad luck.
