Charlotte
R. Yudis has been an instructor of printmaking, bookmaking,
and papermaking at the Fleisher Art Memorial since 1991, and part of
the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Education Department since 1994.
Yudis creates richly textured etchings, often of organic substances,
most notably her blood series. She magnifies many of the images up to
twenty-five times revealing a delicate, intricate pattern of cells.
