Perrone‘s work addresses her personal history\, the history of place and the history of the printed image. She is known for her exquisite and delicate rendering\, often used to create epically-scaled cycles\, such as the twenty-panel A Volcano Pilgrim in Exchange for Fire\, included in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s exhibition Here and Now\, 2011. The work she has created for The Print Center\, Darkness\, dramatically depicts a Venetian glass chandelier from a church in Murano\, Italy. \nThe Philadelphia-based artist is also the Founder and Director of Officina Stamperia del Notaio\, an artists’ residency and printmaking studio in Sicily. Her work has been acquired by the Yale University Art Gallery; Detroit Institute of Arts; New York Public Library; Whitney Museum of American Art; Cleveland Museum of Art; Philadelphia Museum of Art; and\, the RISD Museum.
