SUMMARY:Public Exhibition Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided tour led by our Jensen Bryan Curator\, Lauren Rosenblum. The free\, in-person tour will explore the solo exhibitions awarded from our 100th ANNUAL International Competition: Glen Baldridge: The Pond\, Mary Enoch Elizabeth Baxter: Epilogues of the Black Madonna and Adi Sundoro: Seeking Into The Folds. \nBaldridge\, Baxter and Sundoro take widely different approaches\, but express strong creative perspectives through a compelling exploration of materials. Baldridge’s night-vision photographs of a pond near Portland\, ME\, reveal psychedelic undercurrents; Baxter’s activist reinterpretations of 19th century daguerreotypes advocate for Black women and girls; and Sundoro’s prints explore the implications of security breaches by the Indonesian government in recycled food wrappers. \nTour Schedule:\nWednesday\, February 18\, 12:30pm\nFriday\, March 6\, 5:30pm\nWednesday\, March 18\, 12:30pm\nFriday\, April 3\, 5:30pm \nRegistration requested\, but not required. Email info@printcenter.org or call 215.735.6090 x1 to RSVP.
