Phillips<\/strong>, Chief Academic Officer\/Academic Dean at Moore College of Art &amp; Design. The pair will talk about their past projects and the cultural landscape in Philadelphia as well as ideas for future programs and developing new audiences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conversation at 6:00pm, followed by refreshments<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7820\" src=\"https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/kn.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/kn.jpg 2250w, https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/kn-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/kn-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ksenia Nouril<\/strong> received her PhD in Art History from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick in 2018. Her dissertation examined the role of history in contemporary art through the work of Olga Chernysheva, Deimantas Narkevi\u010dius, Paulina O\u0142owska and Ilya and Emilia Kabakov. She graduated <em>summa cum laude<\/em> from New York University with a BA in Art History and Russian &amp; Slavic Studies. Nouril has organized collection and loan exhibitions for institutions including the Bruce Museum, Greenwich; Zimmerli Art Museum, New Brunswick; Lower East Side Printshop, NY; and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), NY.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before joining the staff at The Print Center, Nouril was part of a team at MoMA dedicated to researching, cataloging and interpreting modernist photographic history through the Thomas Walther Collection. She co-organized the 2015 exhibition <em>Production-Reproduction: The Circulation of Photographic Modernism, 1900-1950<\/em>. From 2015 to 2017, Nouril was a Contemporary and Modern Art Perspectives (C-MAP) Fellow at MoMA. She is a co-editor of and contributor to <em>Art and Theory of Post-1989 Central and Eastern Europe: A Critical Anthology<\/em>, 2018 (MoMA\/Duke University Press) and has published in exhibition catalogs and magazines, including <em>ARTMargins Online<\/em>, <em>The Calvert Journal<\/em> and <em>OSMOS<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7824\" src=\"https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Moore-Mar18_0752-lr.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Moore-Mar18_0752-lr.jpg 900w, https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Moore-Mar18_0752-lr-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Moore-Mar18_0752-lr-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Moore-Mar18_0752-lr-683x1024.jpg 683w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Patricia C. Phillips\u00a0<\/strong>is a writer and curator who focuses on public art, civic space, landscape, the environment &#8211; and the intersection of these areas. She is author of <em>Mierle Laderman Ukeles: Maintenance Art,\u00a0<\/em>2016 (Prestel,\u00a0New York);\u00a0<em>Ursula von Rydingsvard: Working,\u00a0<\/em>2011 (Prestel);\u00a0<em>It is Difficult, a survey of the work of Alfredo Jaar,\u00a0<\/em>1988 (Actar Press, Barcelona); and editor of\u00a0<em>City Speculations,\u00a0<\/em>1996 (Princeton Architectural Press, New York).
