Rosenwald (1891 \u2013 1979), the celebrated collector, had a life-long passion for prints and drawings from the Middle Ages to the 20<sup>th<\/sup> Century. Over time, he gave over 20,000 prints and drawings to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nga.gov\/content\/ngaweb.html\">National Gallery of Art<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.si.edu\/\">Smithsonian Institution<\/a>, Washington, DC. Rosenwald, whose home, Alverthorpe Manor, is now the <a href=\"http:\/\/abingtonartcenter.org\/alverthorpe-manor-lessing-j-rosenwald\/\">Abington Arts Center<\/a>, had a long-lasting and important relationship with The Print Center.
