Join The Print Center as we launch Wendel White’s<\/strong> new book, Schools for the Colored<\/em><\/strong>, which documents <\/span>his decades-long journey through, and examination of, the African American landscape. The architecture and geography of America\u2019s educational apartheid, in the form of a system of \u201ccolored schools,\u201d is the central focus. He depicts many historic structures and sites in Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania that once operated as segregated schools, including places where buildings that once stood are now gone.<\/p>\n

Schools for the Colored <\/em>is published by Push Pull Editions, Corvallis, OR in an edition of 150.<\/p>\n
