Marsha + Stephen Silberstein\u00a0<\/strong>in their\u00a0spectacular Liberty Place home.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Friday, June 8, 2018<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><strong>The evening begins<\/strong><\/span> at The Print Center with a private champagne tour of the solo exhibitions from the <a href=\"https:\/\/printcenter.org\/100\/92nd-solo-shows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0ba17e;\"><em>92ND ANNUA<\/em>L<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u00a0<\/span>with Executive Director Elizabeth Spungen at 6 pm.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><strong>Dinner follows<\/strong><\/span> at the art filled home of the Silbersteins, where we will be treated to a view of their exceptional contemporary photography, print, sculpture and glass collections.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><div class=\"hrule clearfix\" style=\"\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\"><strong>Tickets range from $100 &#8211; $1,200 with various benefits. <span style=\"color: #0ba17e;\"><a style=\"color: #0ba17e;\" href=\"https:\/\/printcenterstore.myshopify.com\/collections\/dinner-date\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">For subscription levels and tickets click here<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Guests at the Benefactor level or above will receive signed copies of <em>Eureka<\/em>, an artist book by Jane Irish and Crispin Sartwell based on Edgar Allan Poe\u2019s essay on the nature of the universe and a new monograph, <em>Jane Irish: Architectures of Resistance<\/em>, published by Locks Gallery in conjunction with the exhibitions <span style=\"color: #0ba17e;\"><a style=\"color: #0ba17e;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.locksgallery.com\/news\/jane-irish-antipodes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Jane Irish: Antipodes <\/em><\/a><\/span>at Philadelphia\u2019s historic Lemon Hill presented by Philadelphia Contemporary and <span style=\"color: #0ba17e;\"><a style=\"color: #0ba17e;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.locksgallery.com\/exhibitions\/jane-irish7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Architectures of Resistance <\/em><\/a><\/span>at Locks Gallery.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><div class=\"hrule clearfix\" style=\"\"><\/div><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jan Gordon<\/strong>\u00a0is an exceptional art collector with a long connection to The Print Center, developed through her friendship with Sam Maitin, Kneeland McNulty and Berthe von Moschzisker. She has a special interest in Philadelphia artists which she initially explored with gallerist Marian Locks. Gordon enjoys acquiring artworks by artists she knows personally, especially women. She has built a collection featuring Maitin, Elizabeth Osborne and Edna Andrade; and more recently, has become a dedicated collector of Jane Irish\u2019s remarkable works.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jane Irish<\/strong> is an outstanding Philadelphia artist. She has been in important exhibitions at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Philadelphia Museum of Art and ICA, Philadelphia; the Walker Art Center; Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans; Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and the Baltimore Museum of Art. She has received prestigious recognitions from the Pew Fellowships in the Arts, the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts as well as residencies all over the world. Irish is represented by Locks Gallery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drs. Marsha + Stephen Silberstein<\/strong> have\u00a0created a home filled with an impressive collection of art, with an especially strong selection of classic and contemporary photographs. They have works of art from all over the world, as well as an exceptional group of pieces by Philadelphia artists.
