Katrina d'Autremont (Philadelphia, PA) is a photographer whose work deals with the ideas of intimacy between family and friends, as well as between people and spaces. After completing her BFA in Literature at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, she spent several years traveling around South America. During which time, she would return periodically to her family's home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her interest in photographing the people closest to her grew out of this time. In 2005 she returned to the United States to begin her MFA in Photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY.
