Sarah Bones (Malvern, PA) saved for her first 35mm camera at age 13, in 1969. She was soon hitchhiking into Philadelphia where she would photograph the lives and circumstances of people living on the street. As a professional photographer her early passion for capturing the spirit of the less fortunate and forgotten, has become a lifelong journey, taking her from rural villages across the world and to small towns of the United States. She is a member of the collective Photographers for Hope who believe in the power of images to support positive social change.
