The Renaissance Graphic Arts Award
Hyejeong Kwon (born 1973, Seoul, Korea; lives Seoul) received an MFA in printmaking from the Sungshin Women’s University, Seoul in 2003. Her work has been exhibited extensively in the US in California; New Mexico; and Washington; as well as internationally in Armenia; Australia; Belgium; Bulgaria; Canada; China; Colombia; Croatia; Egypt; Finland; France; Germany; Italy; Japan; Lithuania; Macau; Macedonia; Poland; Portugal; Romania; Russia; Serbia; Spain; Ukraine; United Arab Emirates; and the United Kingdom. Kwon’s work is in multiple public museum collections in China; Japan; Korea; Russia; and Taiwan and she has received numerous recognitions and awards. She is currently a part-time instructor in the Department of Printmaking at Sungshin Women’s University Graduate School.
