The Print Center 2023 Benefit

The Benefit supports our critically-acclaimed exhibitions, events, publications and educational programs!

We are delighted to welcome Joey Lico as Honorary Curator! Lico is the Executive Director of The Cultivist, the prestigious, London-based global arts club, which offers its members seamless access to every aspect of the art world including private museum tours and artist studio visits. Lico has also been associated with the New York Foundation for the Arts, Independent Curators International, and served as an advisor to the Obama Administration on the ACT/ART Committee to bring contemporary art into public policy. Joey also serves on the Contemporaries Executive Committee for the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.

Through Joey’s generosity, the highest bidder in the Auction will receive a membership to The Cultivist!

Please make a 100% tax deductible gift in support of our Exhibitions Program to support our ambitious plans to bring you an exciting group of new shows! Supporting artists is central to The Print Center’s work – your donation will provide honoraria and other resources for exhibiting artists, including commissioned writing on their work, and otherwise unavailable research, travel and installation opportunities! Our goal is $15,000 – contributions of any size are deeply appreciated!

Benefit Auction and Sale Details (the Fine Print)

The Auction closes at 8:00pm (ET) on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

BIDDING

Register on Qtego here. Once registered, you can bid online, or via text. Bidding can be conducted two ways:

  1. Enter the next bid amount on an item page. It is easy to follow your bids – you will receive email notifications and text messages if you are outbid.
  2. Enter the highest bid that are willing to make – Qtego will bid automatically for you. The amount bid will never be higher than the amount needed to win.

Bid Increments:

Below $100: $20 $100 – $999: $50 $1,000 – $1,999: $100 $2,000 – $4,999: $200 $5,000 – $9,999: $500 $10,000 – $19,999: $1,000

Winning bidders will be notified by email or text as soon as the Auction closes.

New this year! Qtego will charge the credit card on file for your winning bid(s).

Winning bidders will be contacted by The Print Center on Tuesday, December 5 to accept any outstanding payments and make shipping or pick-up arrangements.

After the Auction closes – any unsold lot will available at the minimum bid price until December 22, 2023 at printcenter.org/benefit or at The Print Center.

All sales are final – no exchanges or refunds. All items are sold as is.

By completing a purchase, a buyer waives any claims for liability against either The Print Center or the donor of the property or service. Neither The Print Center nor the donor is responsible for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the utilization of property or services sold.

The Print Center’s membership discounts do not apply to Auction purchases.

Contributions to The Print Center are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Items that are left unclaimed for more than 90 days become the property of The Print Center.
