The Print Center is delighted to have major project support for Demetrius Oliver: Canicular from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. Their support is singular in so many ways – not the least of which is the generous amount which they make available, but also their interest in working with arts and culture organizations in Philadelphia to produce excellent, forward thinking and creative projects. They encourage an approach to exhibition-making marked by imagination, courage and a commitment to artistic excellence. We are honored to be included among those that reach their high standards. Canicular is ambitious, and unusual in many ways. Many funders would not be willing to take a chance on supporting such a challenging exhibition. The Pew Center is excited about the challenge – and has championed us in exploring the idiosyncratic opportunities it presents. Additional project funding has been granted by that National Endowment of the Arts. With the support of both of these outstanding funders, we look forward to bringing you an exhibition and experience which will be thought-provoking and inspiring.
We’d like to thank…
