Asuka Goto (born 1982, Boston, MA; lives Brooklyn, NY) received a BA and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA and an MFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University, Philadelphia. Goto has had artist-residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Madison, ME; Joan Mitchell Center, New Orleans, LA; Lower East Side Printshop and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, both New York; and Djerassi Resident Artists Program, Woodside, CA. Goto has a Jerome Foundation Travel & Study Grant; Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant; NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship; and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant. Goto is an Associate Professor at Moore College of Art & Design, Philadelphia, PA.
