Statement from the Artist:
My work is about the dualities of the physical, elemental nature and the metaphoric, mystical, and contemplative nature, be they peaceful or clashing. My aesthetic evolves organically as an experimental expression of process and material, influenced by cultural tradition. I see a fine line between natural history and cultural history, fossil and artifact and the past, present, and future.
