Stella Ebner (born 1975, Minneapolis, MN; lives Ossining, NY) has a BFA from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis; and an MFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. Selected exhibitions include the Kala Art Institute, Berkeley, CA; Bronx Museum of Arts, Bronx, NY; Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH; Field Projects and International Print Center New York, both New York, NY; The Print Center, Philadelphia, PA; and Cade Tompkins Projects, Providence, RI. Ebner has held residencies at Tamarind Institute, Albuquerque, NM; Kala Art Institute, Berkeley, CA; Lower East Side Printshop and Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, both New York, NY; The Creative Art Initiative, Buffalo, NY; and MI-LAB in Lake Kawaguchi, Japan. She is the recipient of several grants, including a Kala Art Institute Fellowship and Minnesota State Arts Board Artists’ Assistance Fellowship. Her work is in the collections of the University of Albuquerque, NM; Cleveland Museum of Art, OH; Lower East Side Printshop; Minnesota Museum of American Art, Minnesota Historical Society, both St. Paul; and Library of Congress, Washington, DC; among others. Ebner is an Associate Professor of Art + Design at Purchase College, State University of New York.
