Statement from the Artist:
L’Heureux’s artistic work attempts to express what belongs to the senses and evokes emotions by bringing together light and darkness, mass and lightness, opacity and transparence. These notions purposefully coexist in her work to create a sense of calm and peace. L’Heureux’s methods of choice include mezzotint and various aquatint etching techniques.
