Statement from the Artist:
In her series “Spectrals from a Shoreless Sea,” Rotty explores the pleasures and anxieties related to water, exhibiting photographs as sculptural forms on the floor, or projected out from the wall. Working in an iterative process, light is a critical part of both the making of photographic prints and in the installation of the prints as an experience in space.
