Katharina Bossmann (born 1963, Oak Park, IL; lives Fairway, KS) has a BFA and MFA in printmaking from Kansas State University, Manhattan. Her work has been exhibited at the Indiana University Lilly Library, Bloomington; 7Dunham Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, Indianapolis, IN; Stanley Museum of Art, Iowa City, IA; Manhattan Arts Center and Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, both Manhattan, KS; Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norfolk, CT; Women’s Studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY; and Worth Ryder Art Gallery, San Francisco, CA; as well as Casa da Cultura Luiz Antônio Martinez Corrêa, Araraquara, Brazil; Palazzo Beltramini, Asolo, Italy; Kulturbahnhof, Bad Breisig, Kulturzentrum Haus Eberhard, Diez, Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig and Günter Leifheit Kulturzentrum, Nassau, all Germany; and Spark Box Studio, Picton, Ontario. Her work is in the collections of Pinacotheca of Araraquara, Brazil; Janet Turner Museum, Chico, CA; Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library, Indianapolis, IN; Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha, WI; and Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig, Germany, among others. Bossmann was published in the journal Leonardo.
