89th Annual International Competition (2015)

The Print Center’s 89th Annual International Competition features works by 34 of the finest contemporary artists using Photography or Printmaking as critical components in their works today. This year the competition was juried by Dan Byers, Senior Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA (formerly of the Carnegie Museum of Art) & Tina Kukielski, Curator, Hillman Photography Initiative, of the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA. The Print Center’s Annual International Competition is one of the most prestigious and oldest juried exhibitions in the United States. This online exhibition presents portfolios of the work of the 23 semi-finalists and 11 finalists. It provides a unique opportunity to view the work of local, national and international artists in a forum which emphasizes individual talent and expressiveness rather than a specific exhibition topic. Byers and Kukielski reviewed over 2,700 images submitted by 469 artists. Keith Sharp and Ken Wood were selected for solo exhibitions, which were on view April 17 – July 11, 2015.
