Nicole Pietrantoni: The Southern Graphics Council International Award

Nicole Pietrantoni (Walla Walla, WA) received her BS in Art History and Human Development from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN and both an MFA and an MA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. She is the recipient of numerous artist residencies and awards including a Fulbright Scholarship to Iceland and a Leifur Eiríksson Foundation Grant. Her work has been included in over 75 national and international exhibitions at venues including the Manifest Creative Research Gallery & Drawing Center, Cincinnati, OH; Museum of Northwest Art, La Conner, WA; Turner Print Museum, Chico, CA; and Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, MI. Since 2012, she has been Assistant Professor of Art, Whitman College, Walla Walla, WA, where she teaches printmaking and book arts.

The Southern Graphics Council International Award (1 year membership) is awarded to Nicole Pietrantoni.
