Diane Pepe (Philadelphia, PA) received her BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA and her MA from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. She has exhibited her work in a number of venues including the Brindle Gallery, Camden, ME; Delaware Center For Contemporary Art, Wilmington, DE; Dolan-Maxwell Gallery, Marian Locks Gallery, Philadelphia Art Alliance, and Woodmere Art Museum, all in Philadelphia, PA; The Houston North Gallery, Lunenburgh, Nova Scotia; and The Palmer Museum, State College, PA. Pepe is the recipient of numerous grants including an Arts In Education Fellowship funded by the National Endowment for the Arts with support from The Getty Center for the Arts, Washington, DC; a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Special Projects Grant; and National Science Foundation and Ford Foundation Research grants from the Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA. Pepe’s work is found in numerous private and public collections including Blue Cross and Bell of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. PA; Garden State Park, NJ; Houston North Gallery, Lunenburgh, Nova Scotia; Pittsburgh National Bank, Pittsburgh, PA; PSFS, Philadelphia, PA; and Maple Run Dupont, Wilmington, DE;. She is currently Associate Professor of Art at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. She is also Director of the After School Enrichment Program at The Philadelphia School, Philadelphia, PA.
