Mark Sawrie (Muncie, IN) received his BFA in photography in 1981 from Murray State University, Murray, KY, and his MFA in photography in 1986 from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. Selected solo exhibitions include: Devine Gallery, Louisville, KY; Donna Beam Gallery, University of Nevada, Las Vegas; Paris Gibson Square, Great Falls, MT; Rochester Center for Art, Rochester, NY; South Bend Regional Museum of Art, South Bend, IN; Yellowstone Art Center, Billings, MT; and 4 Star Gallery Indianapolis, IN. He is Associate Professor of Art/Photography at Ball State University, Muncie, IN, where he has taught all levels of photography, video art, digital imaging and film criticism for twenty-three years.
