Jonathan McFadden (lives Lexington, KY) holds a BA and BFA from Texas State University and an MFA in Printmaking from Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland. He also has studied at L’Université de Picardie in Amiens, France. He is Assistant Professor of Print Media in the School of Art & Visual Studies at the University of Kentucky. His work has been exhibited at many venues, including Northwestern University, Evanston, IL; University of Wisconsin–Madison; Julio Valdez Project Space, New York; and University of Texas at San Antonio; as well as at National School of Art, Bucharest, Romania; National Gallery of Scotland and Royal Scottish Academy, both Edinburgh, Scotland; Atelier Mondial, Basel, Switzerland; and Zayed University, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has also undertaken residencies at Anchor Graphics, Chicago; Endless Editions, New York; and Prairie Center for the Arts, Schaumburg, IL; as well as Atelier Presse Papier, Canada; Cove Park, Scotland; and Edition / Basel, Switzerland. In 2010 and 2011, McFadden was a Jerome Fellow at Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis.
