Two art classes at the School of the Future experimented with several forms of photography. Students made self-portrait Polaroid transfers, to which they added hand drawn images of and texts about objects and hobbies important to them. Additionally, they took silhouetted portraits of their classmates and wrote descriptive texts around them. The artists also created photograms using found objects and natural materials that they collected on trips outside of the school. Finally, each student took digital photographs, which were then manipulated using computer software, and then combined and printed on canvas for a school mural, as well as for inclusion in this collaborative book.
