Frances B. Ashforth (Ridgefield, CT) received a BS in Fine Art from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY, with a focus on Printmaking & Drawing. Her work has recently been included in exhibitions at the International Print Center New York, New York, NY; Katonah Museum of Art, Katonah, NY; Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT; Barrington Center for the Arts, Gordon College, Wenham, MA, Wenham, MA; and Silvermine Arts Center, Silvermine, CT. Her work has also been exhibited in numerous galleries and resides in several public and private collections. In 2013 she was accepted into a short term residency at Playa, a remote artist residency program located in southern Oregon.
