Theresa Rose

Theresa Rose (Philadelphia,PA) received her BA in Art Education from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, and MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA), Philadelphia, PA. At PAFA, she co-chaired the Visiting Artist Lecture Series Program and was awarded the Eagles and Angels Award for her thesis show. She has worked on projects as an artist and curator at Crane Arts, Little Berlin and Seraphin Gallery. Rose was formerly the Visual Arts Program Director at FringeArts (2012-13), as well as Public Art Project Manager for the City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture & the Creative Economy (2007-2012). Additionally, she is the founder of Philly Stake, a micro-granting program for relevant & creative community engaging projects. Rose is a practicing yogi and completed classical vinyasa teacher training in 2008.
