Robert Hein (Frostburg, MD) received a BFA from Ball State University, Muncie, IN, and his MFA from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. He is a recipient of several awards, recent honors include a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Grant, Experiential Teaching Grant, and a fellowship at the Midwest Center for Photography, Wichita, KS. His work has been exhibited at PhotoSpiva, Joplin, MO; Paducah Photo, Yesier Arts Center, Paducah, KY; The Print Center, Philadelphia, PA; Academy Fine Arts, Lynchburg, VA; a solo exhibit in 2013 at The Saville Gallery, Cumberland, MD; and was a semi-finalist in the Grand Prix de la Decouverte International Fine Art Photography Awards 2013. His work is collected in several corporate and private collections in Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, New York and Florida. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Art-Photography at Frostburg State University, Frostburg, MD.
