Jill Burks (b. 1972, Bethlehem, PA; lives in upstate New York) is a printmaker and glass artist. Burks holds a BFA in Film and Video Production from New York University and has over 20 years professional graphic and digital design experience in the magazine publishing industry. Her recent work explores our understanding of perception to suggest alternative and sometimes improbable spaces. Burks has exhibited at numerous galleries and institutions, including Target Gallery, Alexandria, VA; Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, VT; The Hyde Collection, Glens Falls, NY; and Manhattan Graphics Center.
