Fall 2018
Classroom Teacher: Camille Montano
Teaching-Artist: Liliana Perez
Students from the Charter High School for Architecture + Design made monoprints in response to watercolor drawings by Rochelle Toner that were featured in the exhibition Tying a Knot in a Cherry Stem. They used techniques such as repetition and layering of shapes and colors to convey themes of personal identity and iconography in printmaking activities. Students created accordion folders to hold the portfolio of monoprints they produced.
