In this residency, students took self-portrait photos of themselves and incorporated relief printed typography to ask open ended questions about their personas and their potential. Rather than give one definitive answer, the open ended statements suggest many potential answers and hint at the layers of complexity an individual possesses. Students also used stencils to manipulate the text by hiding it behind their portrait.
