10th – 12th graders at Tacony Academy Charter High School began studying abstraction through smartphone photography, and then expressed a desire to create abstract art through experimentation with elements of design. Students learned foam printing, monoprinting, paper marbling and airbrushing. They created stencils using a variety of materials, and each student personalized and decorated a plain white hoodie using the techniques that they learned from their teaching-artist.
