Solveig Landa (Stavanger, Norway) received a BFA from Montana State University, Bozeman, and an MFA from University of Washington, Seattle. Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions in venues ranging from innovative commercial galleries to artist-run spaces, as well as nonprofit institutions in Norway, around Europe and in the US. She has recently shown her work at the Hubei Museum of Art, Wuhan, China. Her work is also part of Art in Public Spaces in Norway and is in the collection of the Nordic Heritage Museum, Seattle, and The Norwegian Embassy, Beirut, Lebanon, among others. She has received grants from The Association of Norwegian Visual Artists Fund and is a member of Norwegian Visual Artists Association and The Association of Norwegian Printmakers. Landa teaches art and manages Grafisk Verksted, a printmaking workshop in Stavanger.
