Ron Abram

Ron Abram (Newark, OH / Berlin) received his BFA from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, and his MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia. His work has been exhibited throughout the USA and abroad, and is held in the collections of Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA; Mint Museum, Charlotte; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. He has been an artist in residence at Kala Art Institute, Berkeley, CA; Taktkunstprojektraum, Berlin; Anchor Graphics, Chicago; Grafikwerkstatt, Dresden; Flying Horse Editions, Orlando; and Temple University campuses in Rome and Tokyo. He has worked collaboratively as a designer on theatrical, dance and music productions, and extends goals of his artistic practice through curatorial endeavors. Abram is Associate Professor of Art and Queer Studies at Denison University, Granville, OH, where he has taught since 1995. He is Chair of the Studio Art Program.
