Laurie Sloan (Storrs, CT) is an Associate Professor of Art at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. She earned a BFA from Miami University, Oxford, OH, and an MFA from Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA and Rome, Italy. Her work has been shown widely in the US and abroad, including recent exhibitions at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, Columbia College, Chicago, IL, and Manhattan Graphic Arts Center, New York, NY. Sloan’s artwork is in over 25 museum and university gallery collections including the DeCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA, The Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris France, Hammer Museum’s Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts, Los Angeles, CA.
