Susan Myers

Susan Myers (Philadelphia, PA) has exhibited her artwork throughout the US with recent solo exhibitions at: Society for Contemporary Craft, Pittsburgh, PA; Towson University, Towson, MD; Appalachian Center for Craft, Smithville, TN; Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Wilmington, DE; and The National Ornamental Metal Museum, Memphis, TN. She is a past recipient of an Individual Fellowship Award from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and her work will be included in the 2013 exhibition Twenty-First Century Heirlooms at the Racine Art Museum, Racine, MI. Other exhibition venues have included: The Philadelphia International Airport, Philadelphia, PA; Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, Philadelphia, PA; Velvet da Vinci Gallery, San Francisco, CA; Facèré Gallery, Seattle, WA; Fuller Craft Museum, Brockton, MA; New York State Museum, Albany, NY; and The State Museum of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, PA among others. She holds an MFA from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY and a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA.
