Nicholas Hill (Granville, OH) received his BFA from Michigan State University, East Lansing, and his MA and MFA degrees from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2017. Hill has exhibited his work in more than 150 solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States as well as in Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Poland and the United Kingdom. He has been awarded international residencies in Dresden, Germany; Santiago, Chile; Vadodara, India; and Valparaiso, Chile. In the United States, Hill has been granted residencies at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Amherst; Ragdale Foundation, Lake Forest, IL; and MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, NH. Hill is currently Professor of Art at Otterbein University, Columbus, Ohio.
