Judy Haberl

Judy Haberl (Newton, MA) received her BA from University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, and her MFA in Painting and Installation from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts, Boston. She is a Professor Emerita from Massachusetts College of Art (MassArt), Boston, where she taught in the 3D department and also as a guest in the Photography department. She taught the cross-media course, Image and Object, with Laura McPhee for many years and created the popular class, Food & Art, at MassArt. She has exhibited nationally and internationally including exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; United Photo Industries, Brooklyn; The MAC, Dallas; RedLine, Denver; Cultural Center, Havana, Cuba; De Santos Gallery, Houston; Fotofest, Houston; Houston Center for Photography; DeCordova Museum, Lincoln, MA; Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, CT; A.I.R. Gallery, New York; Stux Gallery, New York; Pelham Art Center, Pelham, NY; Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island; and Rose Art Museum, Brandeis University, Waltham, MA. She recently received a Residency Fellowship at Vermont Studio Center, Johnson. She is represented by Gallery Kayafas, Boston.
