Odette England: The Print Center’s Honorary Council Award of Excellence

Odette England (Providence, RI) received her BA and MA from the University of South Australia, Adelaide, and her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence. England was awarded her PhD in Fine Art from The Australian National University, Canberra, in 2018. She has exhibited in the United States and internationally in such venues as the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago; Fort Wayne Museum of Art, IN; George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film, Rochester, NY; and New Mexico Museum of Art, Santa Fe. She is a two-time United Kingdom winner of the Magenta Foundation Flash Forward Emerging Photographers Competition and in 2012 won the prestigious CENTER Project Launch Award. In 2015 England was shortlisted for the Australian Photo Book of the Year Award for her independent monograph Lover of Home. She is represented by Klompching Gallery, New York. England is also the director and curator of the Winter Garden Photograph Project.
