Vivian Wolovitz (West Chester, PA) received her BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, and her MFA from Hoffberger School of Painting, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Baltimore. Wolovitz has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions as well as in regional, national and international venues including MICA; Fairfield University, CT; Bucknell College, Lewisburg, PA; Perkins Center for the Arts, Moorestown, NJ; Museum of Fine and Performing Arts, Nagoya, Japan; Haller Gallery, New York; Borowsky Gallery, Philadelphia; Crane Arts, Philadelphia; Jessica Berwind Gallery, Philadelphia; Kimmel Center, Philadelphia; Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia; Philadelphia Art Alliance; The Print Center, Philadelphia; Projects Gallery, Philadelphia; University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia; Patrick International Gallery, Toronto; Blue Streak Gallery, Wilmington; and Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts, Wilmington. She has had artist residencies in Balchik, Bulgaria; Guanajuato, Mexico; and Lefkada, Greece. Wolovitz was Professor of Fine Arts at Moore College of Art and Design for 30 years and Chair of the 2D Fine Arts Department.
