Brenda Biondo (New York, NY) received her BA in Communication Arts from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Her work has been exhibited throughout the country, including solo shows at The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO; Colorado Photographic Arts Center, Denver; and San Diego Museum of Art, among other venues. Her work has also been published in numerous print publications, including The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Her photographs are in the collections of the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego; San Diego Museum of Art; Library of Congress, Washington, DC, and numerous corporations and private collectors. Her book of photographs, Once Upon a Playground, was published by the University Press of New England in 2014 and is now the subject of a five-year traveling exhibit organized by ExhibitsUSA.
