April Flanders (Boone, NC) received her BFA in Studio Art from Florida State University, Tallahassee, and her MFA from Arizona State University, Tempe. Solo and group exhibitions which have included Flanders’ work have been held at Blue Spiral Gallery, Asheville, NC; Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax, Canada; Pi Gallery, Kansas City, MO; Center for the Book Arts, New York; and Artspace, Richmond, VA. Recently her large installation Advance was purchased by the Asheville Museum of Science, NC.
