Emma Ressel (Brooklyn, NY) received her BA in Photography from Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, where she was awarded the Photography Advisory Board Scholarship and the Photography Senior Project Prize. Ressel’s first monograph, Olives in the street, was published in 2017. Her work has been shown at Woods Gallery, Annandale-on-Hudson; Red Hook Labs, Brooklyn; Instar Lodge, Germantown, NY; The Living Room at Gem, New York; Artemis Gallery, Northeast Harbor, ME; Speedwell Projects, Portland, ME; and The Salon at The Wing, Washington, DC. Ressel held a residency at Lugoland in Lugo, Italy.
Emma Ressel was awarded The Stinnett Philadelphia Museum of Art Collection Award.
